Training session at LISIS and Wikiversity tutorials

On the 20th of January, the Cortext team organized a full day workshop on quali-computational analysis of textual corpora at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Sciences Innovations Sociétés (LISIS), our home laboratory. About fifteen members of the lab and one external student joined us for a program that can be seen here, inaugurating Cortext’s presence on Wikiversity.

Starting with an introduction to text analyses, the workshop proceeded with tutorials for using Cortext Manager, conducting analyses with Sashimi and producing geospatial visualisations. The Cortext team expects to organize a session of this kind two to three times a year at the LISIS, open to visiting scholars and to other members of the regional academic community.
