abstract = {In recent decades, there has been a growing interest among Social Science researchers in computational approaches; Computational Social Science and Digital Sociology are examples of these research directions. An interdisciplinary research field that can be framed within Social Science is Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST), which examines how science and technology can affect contemporary society and how society can affect science and technology. The digitization of traditional media and the proliferation of other information channels, such as Social Media, provide new opportunities for PCST.

This paper discusses the issues that need to be addressed to support PCST scholars, possible solutions to address them, and the integration of these solutions into a single platform that is being used to support research and teaching. Concerning teaching, the paper presents an example of how the platform can be used in the context of a university course.},

abstract = {Cybersecurity research increasingly involves non-engineering disciplines, such as psychology, social science and law [ 41 ]. In this paper, we argue that cybersecurity research is not only reshaped through new methods and concepts of these adjacent fields, but also through shared interdisciplinary practices. Existing literature on interdisciplinarity in cybersecurity is primarily concerned with defining ideal models that are based on ideals, rather than in empirical research of how interdisciplinarity is formed in practice. We offer an ethnographic analysis of interdisciplinary formats based on our four-year participation in the ongoing interdisciplinary cybersecurity PhD programme SecHuman at the Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany. The PhD programme brings together engineers, social scientists as well as humanities scholars. Drawing on methods and literature of ethnographic science and technology studies (STS), we attend to eight different interdisciplinary formats and analyse how they shape cybersecurity research: its logics of accountability, of innovation, and of ontology [3]. This leads to a typology of five modes of interdisciplinarity that can be found in the PhD programme: 1. choice, 2. subordinate-service, 3. integrative-synthetic, 4. trading, and 5. agonistic-antagonistic. Based on our empirical findings, we discuss how each mode shapes cybersecurity, and conclude with suggestions of how to craft interdisciplinary formats in the field.},

abstract = {Entre 2014 et en juin 2021, plus de 450 auteurs dispersés à travers le monde ont fait confiance à CorText Manager pour alimenter un aspect de leurs travaux de recherche. Cela présente 10% de la communauté d'utilisateurs.



CorText Manager permet d'appréhender l'émergence de domaines de recherche et d'innovation, d'étudier des controverses et « hot topics », d'effectuer des cartographies socio-sémantiques des productions de la recherche (publications, brevets, projets), ainsi que d'analyser des contenus issus du web et des média-sociaux. Pour ce faire, plusieurs éléments de méthodes sont mobilisables : principalement issus de la linguistique computationnelle, de la scientométrie, de l'analyse des réseaux sociaux et de l'analyse géospatiale.



Cet atelier se propose de sensibiliser l'audience à certaines de ces méthodes tout en découvrant l'organisation et l'évolution de la production scientifique autour de la chloroquine et de l'hydroxychloroquine entre 2014 et 2020.},

abstract = {This workshop aims at providing methodological and practical skills to analyse patent documents. It relies on the facilities available at UGE in Paris, the RISIS Patent Database and the Cortext tool. The workshop will be centred on two dimensions of the technology analyses using patents: network analysis and geography.

Participants will first investigate technology dynamics through network analysis of cooccurrences of patent classes (co-classification) and cooccurrences of terms (resulting from automatic lexical treatment) appearing in patent titles and abstracts. Second, participants will explore the spatial dimension of technology development analysing inventor locations as they appear in patent documents. Addresses will be geo-coded and allocated to different geographical units: country, regions and metropolitan areas.},
